Booking policies
What is the cancellation policy?
Please give at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule. Late cancellations and missed appointments are charged the full visit fee.
What if I'm running late?
Your visit will still end at its scheduled time, so arriving late shortens your appointment. Please let the clinic know if you're delayed.
What do I need for a virtual visit?
A private space, a reliable internet connection, and a phone, tablet or computer with a camera. Virtual visits are available to patients located in Ontario at the time of the appointment.
How long are visits, and how often will I need to come?
Your first visit is a thorough review of your history, symptoms and any recent lab work. Follow-ups are usually [every 3–6 weeks] at first, then spaced out as things settle. We'll plan the rhythm together on your first visit.

Does OHIP cover naturopathic visits?
No. OHIP doesn't cover naturopathic care in Ontario. Most patients use extended health benefits through work or a private plan instead.
Does my extended health plan cover it?
Most extended health plans in Ontario include naturopathic coverage, often between $300 and $1,500 a year. Plans vary, so it's worth one quick call to your insurer before your first visit.
What should I ask my insurer?
Call the number on your benefits card and ask: "Is a naturopathic doctor covered under my plan?" The exact words "naturopathic doctor" matter, because some plans list it separately from other practitioners. Then ask four follow-ups: What is my annual maximum? Is there a per-visit limit? Do I need a doctor's referral to be reimbursed? Are lab tests or supplements covered?
Can I use a health spending account?
Yes. Naturopathic visits are typically eligible expenses under a health spending account (HSA). Check with your plan administrator to confirm.
Are lab tests and supplements covered?
Lab testing is billed separately from visits, and I'll always give you the cost before ordering anything. Some plans cover part of the cost of lab tests; supplements are usually not covered. You'll get a receipt either way.
